Revised April 2024
First, Michael Palmer vanished into thin air in June 1999 while cycling back from a party. Then, his older brother, Chucky, disappeared in the same area on a snow machine near Wasilla in Alaska 11 years later in April 2010.
Michael’s bike was found in the Little Susitna River, and his sneakers were discovered near a private runway for a homeowner's aircraft some distance away. His remains never turned up despite an extensive search.
Chucky’s snow machine was found after he was reported missing, but despite heavy snow, no footprints or scent were detected. His body has never been found.
What happened to the two brothers? Was it just terrible luck for the Palmer family to lose two sons in strange circumstances, or is there something or someone else responsible in the Alaskan wilderness?
